About Mel Brooks

After studying, Mel Brooks worked at a company within the HLH Group as an accountant, eventually rising to become its financial director. Mel subsequently joined Wits Business School where he gained extensive experience as a facilitator and coach in the fields of small business development and practice, management accounting, accounting and financial management.

Mel’s skills encompass advice/counseling/consulting services, lecturing and writing on business, management and leadership. Mel has enjoyed considerable interaction with a wide variety of people from all sectors of commerce and industry both at a senior management level and also with hundreds of ‘new’ managers. Mel is an accomplished executive coach.

More recently, Mel has turned his attention to social media where he has garnered considerable expertise and knowledge in content production and social-media platform operation and management.
